1. Do I live in the Town of Ballston?

A Ballston Spa or Ballston Lake mailing address does not necessarily mean that you live in the Town of Ballston. You may live in the Town of Charlton, Ballston, Clifton Park, Milton, or Malta! If you live in the Village of Ballston Spa you also live in a town.

• If you live in the village of Ballston Spa, both the Village and the Town you live in will be listed
• Please note that some apartment buildings do not appear in the search

2. What are the benefits of creating a Town of Ballston website account?

Creating a Town of Ballston website account allows visitors to customize the information they see. 

By clicking "Create an Account" located in the brown bar at the top of each page, site users may create a login for the site or may use their Facebook profile to access MyAccount. Once logged in, visitors can choose the modules, features and keywords they'd like to see most often, including calendars, news items and emergency alerts. Site users can also save favorite pages within MyAccount, making important information even easier to find!

Please note:

Creating a town of Ballston website account does not include subscriptions to email and/or text alerts. A CivicPlus Notify Me account is required.

3. How do I receive alerts from the Town of Ballston website?

To receive alerts from the Town of Ballston website you must first create a CivicPlus Notify Me account. You can choose to receive email and/or text alerts about the Town information that is important to you. At the top of the page there are instructions for how to create an account and choose the lists you wish to subscribe to. You can change your preferences or unsubscribe at any time.

 Some examples of the alerts you can receive are:

• Town Alerts (information about water issues or repairs, emergencies, important announcements, etc.)
• News Flash items (items of interest to Town residents, survey opportunities, non-emergency news, etc.)  
• Agendas and minutes posted for committees and boards you choose
• Calendar items scheduled for committees, boards, departments, Town events, etc. that you choose
• Job opportunities at the Town of Ballston
