Overview
Jenkins Park is a small public park located on Jenkins Road in Burnt Hills. This popular park was established by the Town of Ballston as a small Park District in the mid 1950s. The park operates with its own set of bylaws, financially supported solely by taxpayers in the Park District.
Hours of Operation
Jenkins Park is open daily from dawn to dusk.
Amenities
There is a playground area for young children, a horseshoe pit area, two ponds for fishing in the summer and ice skating in the winter, and a pavilion that's available to rent for meetings and social or educational activities. There are trails throughout the park for hiking and cross-country skiing, as well as a baseball field, basketball court, and open areas for passive recreation.
Jenkins Dog Park
In 2023, Jenkins Dog Park was established and situated within Jenkins Park. The dog park is open daily to MEMBERS ONLY from 8 am to dusk, weather permitting. Annual registration is required. Visit the Jenkins Dog Park page for registration information,
