Mission Statement
The Town of Ballston Green Community Committee (GCC) will encourage public awareness of and create opportunities for greener, more sustainable living practices in an effort to become a more resilient community. GCC will research and provide recommendations to residents, businesses, schools, and the municipality for economically feasible and sustainable living practices, thereby helping to foster a town climate with a proactive approach to green community practices. Community-based activities, sustainable-green projects, newsletters, surveys and educational events are just a few of the ways this committee will facilitate this vision. This statement and this committee's mission will evolve as time and technology move forward.
