Important Notice For Town of Ballston Water Users! (10/4/2011)
The Town of Ballston is currently purchasing water solely from the Town of Glenville. We have ceased purchasing water for the Saratoga County Water Authority until they have consistently reduced their disinfection by-products to an acceptable level and provide assurances that these levels will remain within acceptable limits in perpetuity .

Meter reading cards will be mailed out on February 1st and August 1st and are due back in ten (10) days.

- There is a one hundred dollar ($100) charge for the Town to read your meter.
- Bills will be mailed out on March 1st and September 1st, they are due back April 1st and October 1st.
- A 10% penalty will be added to all bills not received by the above due dates.
- All unpaid bills including penalties are relevied on your property taxes as of November 1st.
- Water bills may be paid at the Water Department during normal business hours or by mailing to the Water Department. The Water Department also has a mail slot in its door for the payment of water bills after normal business hours.
- The homeowner is responsible for the line from the curb box to the house and in the house.
- The Town is only responsible for the line from the main to the curb box.

NOTICE
In order to be in compliance with Department of Health Law Part 5-1.42 for lead and copper, the Town must collect forty (40) water samples from different locations by June 30, 2011. We ask that residents please come to the Water Office located in Town Hall, 323 Charlton Road, and get a sample bottle along with instructions on when and how to take samples. Please return the samples back to the Water Department. These samples are only for people connected to Town water.
