The Emergency Management Operations Committee was formed by a Town Board resolution on
July 1, 2008. The purpose of the committee is to review and recommend amendments that would enhance the overall emergency plan, training, and safety of our community. The committee consists of representatives from each fire department and ambulance squad that provides services to the Town of Ballston, Highway and Water Superintendent Joe Whalen, Deputy Supervisor George Seymour, Councilman Tim Szczepaniak, and Supervisor Patti Southworth. Meetings are scheduled the second Thursday of the month at 7 p.m.; also meetings dates and times are posted at Town Hall and on this website calendar. Members of the public are welcome, and comments can be made at the end of meetings.
