DEC New Open Burning Regulations Effective October 14, 2009
 
Beginning May 1, 2010 contractors, who are disturbing more than one acre of land, will be required to have documentation with them that they have attended a 4 hour training session and have been issued a DEC Card to that effect. Consolidated Fee Schedule
The applicant for a building permit upon filing an application is required to pay to the Town of Ballston a fee for such permit pursuant to the Consolidated Fee Schedule of the Town of Ballston.

Attention Ballston Residents! According to New York State Residential Code, pools and spas that hold over 24" of water are considered swimming pools and must meet swimming pool regulations. Please call the Building Department for more information concerning swimming pool regulations.
Workers Compensation Insurance Coverage Form
Effective December 1st, all individuals who apply for a building permit must show proof of Workers' Compensation Insurance Coverage for a 1, 2, 3 or 4 family, owner-occupied residence, unless they meet one of the 3 criteria shown on the following form .This form must be completed, notarized and submitted along with the building permit application.
